#teamethangray
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received since Ethan’s diagnosis in October. We feel that love and support every day through random acts of kindness, your thoughts and prayers, and food and gifts. So many people have asked how else they can continue to show Ethan how much they love him.
Ethan, Tyler, Rich and I created a T-shirt that everyone can wear to show their support and let Ethan know he is not alone. It would mean so much to him if you posted pictures of you wearing it and use the hashtag #teamethangray when appropriate.
Beyond our love for our son, we also wanted to find a way to do good in this world through this challenging time. So, we decided that each person who makes a donation to Children’s Healthcare Of Atlanta (CHOA), no matter how big or small, will receive a #teamethangray T-shirt.
By giving, you will not only then have a T-shirt to wear and then post pictures of you wearing it to show your support, but also help so many others. Each week, we learn of a new/different story. A single dad that lost his job, struggling financially to support his two kids during chemo. A mom, who lost her child, two years ago, to cancer, now spends roughly 8 hours every 3 weeks with her other child receiving blood to help his rare blood disorder. There are so many stories of families that are struggling in so many ways.
The money will help to buy food, gas, gifts (for celebrations), clothes and anything else struggling families need and will be directed to Aflac, a division of CHOA that solely focuses on cancer and blood disorders in children, where Ethan spends a few hours every week for his chemo treatment.
If you would also like regular updates, please visit Ethan’s story at CaringBridge: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ethanlassiter.
I will send you a shirt to the address when you make a gift today. Thank you so much for your support!
